The TOC-L carbon analyser is the result of a long development effort by Shimadzu, thanks to which the total organic carbon
determination of total organic carbon. The TOC instrument is designed with user-friendliness and functionality in mind, along with improved sensitivity.

The TOC analyser allows simultaneous determination of total organic and inorganic carbon in natural and waste water. Highly efficient catalytic combustion at +680°C ensures the oxidation of all organic compounds, regardless of molecular size or degradation susceptibility.

In addition to total carbon, the TOC instrument can simultaneously determine total nitrogen thanks to the TNM-L option. The TOC measurements can be performed under the control of the TOC analyser’s independent, dedicated processor or under PC control.
