The Shimadzu UV-1280 is an affordable and easy-to-use single-beam spectrophotometer. The wavelength range of the instrument is 190 – 1100 nm. In addition to photometric measurements, the instrument can also perform spectral runs. The spectrophotometer is controlled from the front panel of the instrument and the results can be stored on a USB stick.
