The MALDI-8030 is a linear positive and negative polarity MALDI-TOF instrument manufactured by Shimadzu. The compact bench-top instrument with fast 355 nm laser (200 Hz) is a high-performance tool for quality control or research.

The instrument is designed for easy maintenance – longer replacement intervals for consumables and automated cleaning without vacuum shutdown using a UV laser (patented TrueCleanTM technology). The oil-free vacuum system provides a quiet and comfortable operating environment.

Optional extensions to the instrument’s MALDI SolutionsTM software, SampleStation and AuraSolution, are available for automated sample series analyses, especially in a controlled laboratory environment.
